45Z Farmer Documentation Starter Kit

The 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit rewards biofuel producers who use crops with lower carbon intensity, but only if they can prove how they were grown. This starter kit shows growers what to record for each practice, from cover crops to nutrient management.

• Lower carbon intensity means a bigger 45Z credit. To claim it, you need proof of which practices were used, on which fields, and when.
